Practical information for tourists

Ośrodek Informacji Turystycznej w ToruniuIt is advised to contact Tourist Information Centre before arrival to Toruń.

The centre offers publications for tourists, souvenirs, folders, maps and postcards, informs about attractive tourist attractions in the city, has a database of lodgings in Toruń and the rest of Poland available for visitors and gives information about artistic, sports and cultural events.

You can also look into a tourist guide-book, for example a book published by Pascal Publishing House "Polska na weekend” (Poland for a Weekend), which contains easily accessible useful information for travellers. The guide-book is available in Polish bookshops, and should also be available in tourist information centres and travel agencies. It contains topographical, tourist and practical information, and on margins you can find historical and cultural digressions, legends and stories. Toruń is described in "Ziemia Chełmińska (the Land of Chełmno)" section.
